Jacob Lawrence created art about the world around him. He is known for his real life and vivid scenes of African American life and history.

In this class we will be reading a picture book called Jake Makes a World based on the life and art of Jacob Lawrence. Students will create their own real or imaginary worlds using step-by-step instructions for illustrated map-making!

This class includes all the supplies needed to complete the project if you sign up for the 5 class bundle by August 14th.
